Title: BSG Battlestar model downloads

Hello everybody, thanks for taking time out to read. I'm searching to download these battlestars but I just can't seem to find any links. Like to add them to BtRL mod

Where do these models come from? None of those people's names are familiar to me from HLP. Are they suitable for game use? A model with dozens of intersecting faces or a million polies is no good for a game. What do the models look like?

They may have been ones that were converted a long time ago for that BSG ToS mod?  I still have most of those models somewhere, maybe even on the FotG FTP.

Those models are very high poly models from Sci-fi meshes, or from the Battlestar Prometheus project.

Sorry to dissapoint you, but AldrikGs Pegasus ( which is, afaik, not publicly available anymore) and Will Jaspers Galactica need a **** ton of optimisation to be useable ingame.
Believe me, i've tried, the Pegasus is a Polymonster with ~3 million Polys.

While i'm not familiar with Infiniys238s work, i assume same can be said for those ships.
The last one is unknown to me.


There are ships available in a German BSG mod that uses Coxxons fleet, but most of them, mostly the Battlestars aren't really useable in a space sim. They'd work in a Render or a RTS though.
Coxxons higher poly Galactica needs serious optimisation, before it can be used ingame.
I've converted it a long time ago, but the fps drop on my ( old) rig is headache inducing.

Best thing is, to wait for Diaspora.
