This is a piccy i drew of a ship i am going to make if i thr right skills.
Can you please post suggested improvments so i can make the best model i can :D

Nice looking. Is it Vasudan or Terran?

LOL
Its vasudan, i am working on a terran fighter picture now, its based on a loki and a water color (i think it was water color) venom made in OTT.

Nice concept, but don't we have enough capital ships with bad-ass cannon(TM)? :)
-
ermmm...
...Naa
The thing about my cannon is that it has a plausable tech thingy.
Spacships are built to withstand 0 to 1 earth gravity, any more preshure could rupture the hull. My beam cannon focuses gravity in to a beam like a pulsar (i think thats what its called) out of a black hole.

I beleive that was a joke on Futurama:
The planet express ship is sinking to the bottom of the ocean.
Fry says to Leela "Where gonna be crushed! How many atmospeheres can this ship wistand!?"
Leela says "well its a space ship, so between 0 and 1..."
Anyway, im sure a powerful enough gravity cannon would work, but spaceships arent just built to withstand between 0 and1 atms (todays sceintific word). Todays current ships need to survive a lot of preasure flying through an atmosphere at 4000 mph, and in freespace, although i dont think they are designed for atmospheric flight, would have to withstand preasure from explosion shockwaves, weapons impacts, and beam weapons for larger ships.
Observation: you know the texture thats black with yellow windows a lot of the terran ships use (ie on hecate, hippocrates)? A window cant be very weapons proof, wouldnt like to stand next to one even attacking a fenris.
Anyway, nice drawing, looks a bit like an AWACs with a streched nose.

Bah, friggin gravity cannons never work. Say you have some sort of sharp edge gravity pulse that ripssome of the ship towards you and splits it in half, might work, unlikey. If you have a big cannon that fires a gravity beam then you'd have a tractor beam. And force exerted on a target from a gravity beam would apply equal force to the mounts of the gravity generator, bad idea.
Just have it as a big friggin EMP cannon than causes lightning to ripple through hit ships and melt holes in the hull.

"using the power of Gravity!!!"
For some reason, that calls to mind ads from the 50s featuring soaps with highly exuberant names...
Anyway. Er, it's not entirely plausible, since a grav cannon would:
1. require a source of gravity, likely a point source. Thus, not only would the ship and anything in a sphere around it get hit as well, but a delicate little supergun like the one in the drawing would be torn to bits. And that shape wouldn't be ideal for holding a high-mass gravity well.
2. Not produce a lot more force than, say, a beam cannon, mass driver, or Morningstar, which are much more efficient.
But it looks pretty good. Kinda half-Terran, half something else.

Well actually it's fairly obvious that the GTVA can create artifical gravity (Just look at the main hall in FS2 and FS1) so they do have experience with gravity generators of one sort or another. The only question is if they are able to project gravity.
Still I like the idea of a gravity cannon. You fire it at the enemy and all the wings gaurding it get stuck to the hull :D

ok..my thoughts on a grav cannon would be one that put out a very fast push/pull pulse that would litterally vibrate the ship to death >)~

Groovy! :D
