Hello friends,
during the above named mission BP2 crashes after some 5 minutes. I am using the 3.6.12-Inferno build and all .vp files for bp and bp2 were checked by md5sum.
System: Ubuntu 10.04 32 bit system with Nvidia 315 chipset, current driver 275.19
Log is attached.
Thank you for your efforts.

How the hell did you ever get up to Delenda Est?
All those VP files should be in some mod folder, not in the root directory. The only VP files that should ever be in the root directory are the stock FS2 files.

Practise :D and "very easy". Not one time progress with 5 deaths.
Now I removed those .vp files, tried again and this time it crashes after the first waypoint (progress). Log attached

With my comment I meant that I am VERY surprised you managed to actually play any mission at all. I would have thought with all those VP files the game would crash right on mission one.
And I'm not sure the file "/home/oliver/Freespace2/tango1_fs1.vp' with a checksum of 0x758f2594" is supposed to be in the root either. At least I do not have such a file there (though I have it in my FSPort folder).

I had a problem with one of the missions before, which crashed with the inferno build. Then I tried to reproduce it with the debug-build to report the problem, but this time it worked (with those .vp files inside of the root-folder).

Whoa, you posted just while I edited my last post. See above for something i found.

Ok, here is the newest log. It didnt crash yesterday with the Inferno-build, but I died
Now it crashed again with the debug-build. Some parts of it:

The system error messages show segmentation faults in both the INF and debug build:

Ok, the problem is solved. I created (better: cloned) a new pilot and started the campaign again. This time everything worked fine and I was able to play the whole campaign without crash with the INF-build.
Thanks for your help, guys.
