Title: Modding board stickies

What do I see when I go to the modding board?

A WHOLE BUNCH OF STICKIES. They're taking up half of the first page of posts! Some of them are old, redundant or could be moved elsewhere. Do we need a general modding tutorial thread with links to tutorial posts, plus a bunch of actual tutorial threads stickied? How about a tutorial board where people could post that stuff? The PCS2 help thread could go to the Tools board where the rest of the PCS2 threads are. I understand the reason to sticky some of these, but its easier for actual modding posts to get lost and unseen since it only takes half the time for them to go to page 2 and never be seen again.

This concludes Axem's yearly rant on silly things. :)

I agree

I once recall asking a redundant question in a thread and was pointed out there was a sticky for it.
With so many stickies you just kinda start to ignore them or look over the ones you might need. And yeah, several of them are old and/or redundant (Two stickies about skyboxes for example?).

Yeah I thought about unstickying some of them but I couldn't decide which ones to unsticky.

Why? what was in there? O_o I never understood its purpose.

Probably remove the SpaceScape one.
I'm the only one who uses it pretty much >.>

It's purpose was to field all the questions people have about enabling cockpits. Believe it or not there are quite a lot of people who like visible cockpits. Until cockpits become a feature that you can toggle I think that thread should be restickied.

Spacescape one could be unsticked and given a link in the 'tutorials' thread.. or just moved to the Tools board...?

I use Spacescape too. It's very useful.. on that note.. Contemplates... took me 2 years to learn what it was and WHERE it was... why does that not have a link somewhere on the tools board?

Maybe we should just have an IMPORTANT THREADS thread that lists a select few IMPORTANT THREADS.

Until backface rendering is restored to 3.6.9 era, cockpits are useless on the fact that glass is rendered on the inside and reflects to all hell.
Solid-glass cockpits are completely unusable.

WHY ARE THINGS DRAWN ON BOTH SIDES?!!?!?
