Title: Any good capital ship missions out there?

Hey,

Are there any good non-default ship missions out there? The ones I know about are "war.zip" and The Blade Itself. Y'know, corvette missions, capital ship missions, cargo container missions :D, that sort of stuff?

Try Merkar Campaign Demo.
You can fly a Fenris there (what's amazing, it's retail compatible).

Or as an asteroid? Wasn't there a Bosch Beer container mission lying around somewhere?

Anyhoo, yes, I am basically looking for capital ship missions. I will try out the Merkar Demo.

The only link I have found to the Merkar Demo is this:

If I recall correctly, the original version was for Freespace 1. I much rather try that version, but it seems nowhere to be found.

I should have mentioned, the Fenris mission is a single mission, not in campaign.
Also, it looks like the Merkar campaign has been updated a bit (the original was for retail).

Flying cap ships is actualy a main feature in BPmulti. While the majority of the cap-ship missions require multiple people, the Post Meridian TvT is -technically- co-op so it is possible to play it alone as either the Karuna or a Deimos.

So far I think you have to try flying an Aeolus with the mediavps. Isn't it fun squashing off wings of Shivan Maras with rains of flak and aaafs?

  Wait a second, you can play as a Fenris, I didn't get notice of that, will download that campaign again later :D
