Well since we can now (note that i don't know when it comes up , so it may not be a recent addition ^^ ) set the max radar range via sexp, i wonder if there was already a way to share radar information between friendly ship?
A sort of p2p radar system, each ship (fighter AWACS etc... ) have a set radar radius capability, but on each allied radar in the mission you would be able to see what other ship are able to detect within their radius?

AWACS do that last I checked -- in a nebula at least, I never tested it with the SEXP. So maybe if you gave AWACS to all ships in the mission...?

i'll give a try.
But as the default radar maybe has infinite range i quite doubt that aside from nebula it would works like that.
But i'll try.

Yeah, if you gave everything AWACS that could work... but I'm not sure if that works in non-nebula missions.

And well awacs is an object type , can't be modified via fred, it may make some problem to set anyship as awacs in the objecttype table ^^
Aardwolf : sort of yup, like you have for exemple in supcom.

I think you can in FRED with set-awacs-radius.
