ok... we need this...   except we need to warp them in out of a wormhole en mass.... BoE style.... flying through a fleet
making them explode progressively as the Nyans pass through...

If I could figure out how to get models from Maya to PCS2 without a hitch, I would definitely do it
Unfortunately this hierarchy and all other things associated with it aren't cooperating with me

get Maya to spit out a good geometry dae model with a texture and I can get it through pcs2.

you just need a thin cuboid and a animated texture with animated alpha maps. trails will be another interesting matter...

If you look at the pixels, it's a tiled texture of just a short section of the rainbow... and it repeats for the length of the trail.

It still needs the sparkles though.... THE SPARKLES !

Actually the trail is a contrail that's used in nebula missions. Note that the trail is actually upside down there. I flipped it later so the red is on top.
