I know, right?

On the one hand this looks awful, on the other hand I think it's actually really cool to have a live action show that's in the universe of a game, especially with vehicles that actually are the same ones for the most part as the ones in the game (Wing Commander movie being a glaring example of the opposite).
Also, can it really be called a "best selling videogame saga"? According to Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_PC_video_games) it's not. Also don't know if I'd really call Red Faction a "saga". Freespace maybe yea but Red Faction?

is that that horrible made for tv movie? i gotta go vomit nao.

I lolled when they repeatedly used the same move to hit other people. Regardless, didn't seem that good.

Just like the game!

oh... so this was the 'missing game' between Guerrilla and Armageddon.
-
Is this even worth watching as comedy?
-
sigh. if written well could actually be good. in guerrilla there wasn't much besides blowing stuff up. if they stepped outside the games boundaries and took the universe they could have something. looks like a buncha drama :(

no. its just a complete waste of time. it actually made me boycott the syfy channel all together.
-
Since when could you watch something on SyFy original series and expect it to be good? :/
Wait, is Eureka included in that? Exclude it, then answer my question. :P
-
How the hell does "SyFy" manage to make everything so cheap and crappy looking? The Half-Life Beyond Black Mesa fan movie looked better than that.
-
The Half-Life Beyond Black Mesa fan movie was made by people who gave a **** about what they were doing.
-
this is the syfy mentality on science fiction:
lets spell it wrong, then we can do it wrong. cancel every decent show on the network, replace it with c grade movies, reality shows, soap operas and wrestling. the channel offers me no reason what so ever to continue watching it.
if they went back to their roots and played classic sci-fi i might actually find a reason to watch their channel, but they cant even do that. when they start doing reruns for more recent series, they dont play em in order and they leave gaps, sometimes they only play a few episodes and just stop. they can do nothing right and thats why i dont watch their network anymore. the channel to watch for good series right now is amc, every series they do is watchable at worst and ****ing epic at best.
-
SyFy had a decent anime block for the past couple of years, but that dropped off the face of the Earth too.
-
keyword is had. they dont have anything anymore, not one redeeming factor. throw drivel at us expect us to watch your advertisements? **** that!
-
wht triggered their decline? did the CEO quit or something? I remember they were good and it suddenly started falling apart.
