Hey, whenever i try using the launcher for FS2, i keep getting a "There is no disk in the drive" error. could someone help me? I have to keep pressing cancel and then it shows up.
EDIT: i had to change which build i was using, and i got the same error, and when i tried launching the game

It sounds like you're running retail. You should be using an fs2open launcher instead of the fs2 launcher, and fs2open instead of fs2. Make sure that your launcher's pointing to a current version of the executable, preferably (for the short time remaining until .14 goes final) a 3.6.12 build.
If that's not enough to set you on the right track, start at the beginning and tell precisely what your install looks like, please.

I'm using the FS2 open launcher, and i'm using 3.6.14 RC2
-
And you put it all together properly with the MVPs and an fs2 install?
edit:
as detailed here: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=78710.0

This was exactly what I was thinking back to as well - was the build behavior ever adjusted?
-
It should be...
-
OP: Can we get a screenshot of the error?
-
ok, NOW it decides to launch right.... wierd..... :doubt:

Just FYI, all builds I release as nightlies or RCs are now built on a C: partition.
