Title: Freespace sound files.

I have been trying to locate the sound files in the Freespace 2 folder for the voiced transmisssions between fighter and such.

an exact sound im looking for is "Sathanas Configuration I repeat Sathanas configuration!" from the psamtic in mission 27.

To simplify things a bit, since that wiki page is kind of overwhelming, all of the retail FS2 files are located inside the .vp archive files in the main FS2 directory.  More specifically, the voice files are located within stu_fs2.vp.  There are a number of tools you can use to view and extract the contents of .vp files; VPView (http://www.freespacemods.net/download.php?view.635) is the old standby so long as you don't have to actually edit the contents.  If you look in the "special" folder inside stu_fs2.vp, you should be able to find what you're looking for. :)

Also i suggest extracting all the missions, so you can load them up in FRED2 and see what your favourite dialogue files are called.
