Post by: Darkage on June 01, 2002, 06:06:19 pm

You might either extend your hyperspace cone to more of a distnct point or make sure that it is black space behind it.  I'm assuming that there is a hole there as it stands now.

Yup....and it also gives abit of the feeling that it smashes into your monitor. I'll give it a shot to animate it properly.

all those looks great, but, for god's sake, when will you even only TRY and make your own models some day? :p

The edges are too crisp and the blur is jittery as opposed to blurry.

try tutorials :)
for exemple, if you use 3dsmax, go to 3dcafe.com , free section, and do the shark tutorial, good basis to make low poly models ( forget the last part if you're not interested in high poly meshes). anyway, for any 3d prog, go there, there's a lot of tuts for a lot of 3d packages

This is excellent indeed. The first picture could use better anti-aliasing though, the further part of the ship looks way too artificial.

The second one, is... what can I say. A1-SUPAR

Not having LW isn't an excuse.  There are conversions of it all over the net.
