Hi every body

This is the first mission of a project I am working on. The story is set 16 years after Capela in the wolf 359 system. I need it tested for bugs and such and any feedback is welcome. The mission is attached to this post just play it like a single mission.

Here's some thoughts. Good work putting together a mission. You have shown your ability to work with FRED and think through the needs of getting a mission working. Now you just need to tweak, bugfix, balance it.

First of all, you have your cap ships (at least the Tyre) moving like fighters with huge maneuvers. You should consider working with waypoints and the beam and turret control sexps instead of ai-attack orders.

Second, the Glory was killed during the battle, but nothing in the mission acknowledged that. In fact, at the end, the Glory was told to hold position! Of course the debrief congratulated me and also suspended me from action because of this.

Finally, the Return To Base objective marked true before I pressed Alt-J. Usually this one only becomes true once Alpha 1 has departed. It seemed like in this mission it became true after a message was sent.

I understand what you mean with the tyre but I felt that it was destroyed before it got close enough to make any AI manuvores that would look out of place.

Yes the glory is supposed to survive. Wait for the Ostia to be destroyed and you will get a message from the fletcher telling you to engage the 2 cruisers then not long after that the glory will tell you to prioritise the veii which is a Lilith so you should focus on destroying its forward beam canon. If you do that quickly enough the glory should survive. I didn't give a destroy veii's forward beam canon directive on purpose.

I will have to look at the rbo I could have mucked it up after trying to put a rbo incase the fletcher or glory were destroyed. Any suggestions on how to do this would really help as well.

Did you have any trouble with the glory surviving? Wondering because man mentioned it.

no i have played on very easy becouse i have a handicap i cant use my hands good and i cant walk
But i can well play on very easy
