Title: Should I give up for ATI Mobility X1600 ?

hello all I'm newbie .. it taste bland when I have disabled GLSL, nothing could be done, except to upgrade my GPU. and incidentally my laptop contains  ATI MOBILITY X1600 ... goodbye for shaders, normal maps, post processing and beautiful effects .. maybe i should save a little money to update the GPU  :(

Yes, definitely. The X1600 is particularly nasty.

However, given that you mention it being part of a laptop, you will probably have to buy a completely new system.

X1600?
I thought it wasn't that different from my x1650pro (everything turned on at 1280x1024 and 4x antialiasing) or is it a problem of the mobile versions of x16XX series?
Just curious.

I had lots of problems with X1600 on iMac, but it is possible to get FS2 working.
