Just wondering, any non-canon Vasudan Ships (or Canon for that matter) that would make great Ancient ships if re-textured? Need to keep some noted for the later future.

Your question is one of personal creative choice. I personally think none of the Zod ships work well w/ the Ancient theme the ASW team has goin'.
My personal suggestion in general is to make your own ships. It's a high learning curve at first, but it's well worth the effort in terms of having creative control and gaining respect around here.

Well there's that Tuket or w/e that looks kinda like the Odigitria. But its really low poly, and I have no idea who made it or where it can be found.

There are, of course, the Ancient ships which were specifically made for the purpose of making good Ancient ships :P

If I learn how to turn low-poly models into HTL models then maybe I could use the Tuket. Plus many have said it is a monstrosity of a model.

If you take a good look, there's quite a few such ships.
Perhaps some of these could work too:

Edit: Noticed you already found the Anouke.

I've thought of those but the problem is I would like to know how to make outdated models like those into fabulous HTL models.

You kinda have to learn how to model and texture first...

Yeah...the one true roadblock in my dreams

You're going to need a lot more than a retexture to do that. Creating a high quality HTL version of an existing ship generally involves remodelling it (often from scratch) to use a higher level of detail and more polygons. This is difficut. Then, models should be UVMapped and textured onto a single material (tilemapped High poly models are rare, since they pretty much always look worse than UVed, single texture models). Finally, you use your exisitng textures to create normal maps, shine maps and glow maps that enhance the final product. It's an involved process, and not something that can be demonstrated by any kind of simple tutorial. You just need to practice with your programs of choice until you've developed the skills and experience required to make good models.
Of course, at that point, you're unlikely to want to HTL existing Vadsudan ships into Ancient ships, since you'd be better off just making your own Ancient ships from scratch.
[EDIT]Ninja'ed by TheE. Always so succinct. :(

Get the low poly version working anyways, if the mod has a good storyline, interesting gameplay, some new features, a detailed background on the Ancients (or some other major plot element), or a combination of these, it doesn't need HTL models everywhere.
Look at Wings of Dawn.
P.S. Some modders might even build the HTL versions themselves when the mod is released....

It's pretty old. Tis my design, Fulgrymm was the one who actually modeled it, but I haven't heard from him in a decade.
And yeah, it does look pretty atrocious these days. That and the Heptu. :/

Oh god! Don't even mention the name "Heptu"
