I appreciate the fact that you're trying to help, buuut.... Why post this? It's mentioned in the stable build release posts, the FSO FAQ, and several other places besides.

He's not, and we'd appreciate it if discussions involving him be treated with a reasonable level of civility.

WouterSmits, we certainly appreciate that you're trying to help people out, but I think we're okay without this being floated. :) Any place with install instructions for FS_Open contains a prominent link to OpenAL, so the people who are following those instructions will see it there and be able to find it.
