Hey y'all.

  Stucuk, who has maintained Tarr Chronicles and Dark Horizon since 2009, has released the LUA files for Tarr and Dark as a way to jump start modding for both. They can be found here...

Not quite an open source project, but at least they can finally be fleshed out properly and given the control and tweaks they deserve. Here's the link to SSC's thread...

Tarr chronicles was interesting..but so damn CONFUSING. The story was all over the place.

An English translation of a German script and wonky A.I. to boot. But she feels better than 90% of the sims I've ever played. Just full joystick control would be so key...

Tarr Chronicles and Dark Horizon patch 1.0.7.0(different for each)now available. Plug-in and mod support now included.

They made another game after dark horizon. Cold Stars I'd not heard of it until I looked at your link
looks to be a russian only release
