I get an error message when i try to launch the game with fsport and related mods (default FSport, with mediavps, silent STR etc.) ever since i downloaded the latest version from the FSO launcher. I also downloaded all the related files such as STR and Cardinal Spear.
Here is the error message:

Ok so how ddo i get that? Its been a while.....

So from that last bit im guesing it has something to do with my version of the game being Polish? (i replaced the retail voice files with the original english ones a very long while ago if that can have any effect on this)

That is likely the cause. However, I noted you are using 3.6.12. The most recent FSPort will run better on 3.6.14 RC and 3.6.12 is barely supported.

Found root pack 'D:\Games\FreeSpace2\Root_fs2.vp' with a checksum of 0x95939bdcI don't know if this is because you have the Polish version, but this file also seems to have an incorrect checksum. (Just in case, download this (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/karajorma/FAQ/Downloads/HotUv1.20Pack.rar) and extract the Root_fs2.vp file to your FreeSpace2 folder. You might want to back up your current Root_fs2.vp.)
As for the language, you can change it to English by following these instructions (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/karajorma/FAQ/fs2-technical.html#ChangeLang) (assuming you're using Windows). They're under "How do I change the language settings for FS2 - The retail launcher won't let me?"

Well this is odd. After changing the language FSport works fine but regular FS now gives the same error. Might be becouse the Polish version did not include any files for the English one. Everything works fine after i swaped the Root_fs2.vp file. Added bonus the game is finaly fully english and i dont have to bare the "less than perfect" translation anymore. Thanks.
