I personally love this mod, but I also feel like a lot is lost when the FMVs and pilot cockpit videos are lost. Is there any way that I can install this mod over my legitimate MC2 installation?

Video, I believe, is broken so it won't matter. I'd like to see some video support, myself.

It's broken? I thought it was just removed wholesale from the source due to licensing issues--hence, legit copy.

Right and like I said, I believe the code for video was broken, which is why you can't with the source.

Replacing the video is on todo list.

I plan to remove mc2 video module with some of free ave players.
When, I cannot say.

AFAIK directx has some video playback function, we could just use a default system codec like wmv to avoid any compatibility issues.
