It's nice, but what's the point in using lego in renders?

Becuase i dont know how to do 3D models, but i like Lego, and wanted to make something big-ish with MLCAD.

I think that it loows pretty :jaw: though the big dorsal fin looks a bit too big. Oh, and you could depress the turrets. :lol: :wakka: :lol:

Ok, i overlayed pictures of the Hecate from FS view, with my hecate, and made the following changes
- slightly shorter 'dorsal' fin
- overall length of model reduced by trimming engines, though still aint quite perfect and is a bit longer than the origional.
- changed turrets, i didn't depress them, but i used a different slope.
- extra front beam cannon added ; it started off with 2 like the real model, but in construction i think i moved one somewhere else, its in its right place now.
- rear 'towers' altered to have a shape more like the real things.
You can get the new model here:

The compairson pictures for model one are available here;

The comparison pictures for the newer model will be here later.

Go there, go to 'download' follow the insructions closley - you need to get a few files, but they are all free and it tells u where to get them.
Install it.
Download the tutorial (under ' tutorials') and do it.
Then u should be set to make pretty much anything u want.
