i've seen a few other people post about it in gendisc also.  whenever i click anything, HLP hangs for a good while at "connecting to simplecdn.maxcdn.com"

consistent on all browsers and computers.

Not anymore on my end. Was so yesterday and a couple days before that.

Had that yesterday. Adblocked simplecdn.maxcdn.com and life is good (hopefully I'm not affecting ad revenue on the site).

The problem is caused by your DNS server which has not updated DNS records. For example, OpenDNS (208.67.220.222 & 208.67.222.220) works fine.

:yes:

I use Google DNS (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4) and did not notice the slowdown.
