Title: Promotional posters for Noctis V
Post by: Stargazer_2098 on June 04, 2002, 03:48:51 am
Is it possible to post any renderings here (even mine?). Well, if so; I have created some promotional renderings for the soon-to-be-released freeware game Noctis V.
Before I post these renderings, I need to know; is it possible to transfer images directly from my hard-drive to this forum? I dont have a webpage yet, so I have to make a direct transfer from my HD to here.
What we are talking about is 4 renderings. All together they weights at about 330 Kb. They are created with Mojo World Generator, with text and effects created with Phototshop.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply; now here's the problem:
I attempted to transfer the first image (by using the IMG-command), but it didnt work.
You mentioned something about attachments... Well it stands here that "You may not post attachments". Is there any way to lift this restrictrion, anything I can do?

Oh, I guess it's one of those admin perks that I forgot about... damn.

Can't really change it for one person without changing it for everyone and that isn't really an option since the forums would get clogged with all kinds of crud. However, email me at [email protected] with the files (zipped preferably :)) and I'll upload them to my FTP space and post them up here for you.

I like the technicolor atmospheric ring around Earth in the second-to-last pic.  :D  Only thing I can really look down upon is the lens flare...it hurts me eyes, and doesn't seem to...fit in with the rest of the render.

I agree that the lens flare is in the way... Lets see...

*Takes note: In next rendering, leave the flare out* Ok, done.

Thanks for the feedback. Thats the only way I know what to improve or remove. :)

I'm gald you like the atmosphere, it took me a while to figure out how to do it, but I hope it turned out well...?

Please note that I also have these posters in their clean form (without any text or other Photoshop-effects and tamperings).
If you want those originals, please post your e-mail adress here, or send me a message at [email protected] .

Thanks.

I have now created 4 new renderings, and updated the old ones.
New features:

1) New atmosphere effects, crated with a plugin I made with Lightwave.

2) 32bit text and renderings graphics (old ones was 8 and 16 bit)

3) New lightning and shadow-effects, making it look sharper.

If anyone wants these new renderings, just e-mail me. You can get them in two packages: one is the promotions with texts and effects.
The other one is a clean-renderings package, including all the clean 32bit renderings without any text or effects.
And you can of course get both the packs in two e-mails.

My e-mail: [email protected]

Thanks.:)

You have no idea how often I have heard that.

The new renderings (not posted here yet) include new letters, high-pixel (32bit) at that. All the renderings you see here is rather outdated by now.

What stands above still counts; the new renderings can be sent on request.
You can either leave a post in this thread, or e-mail me at [email protected] . I will then send you the new renderings.
