The Department of Redundancy Department language aside, I don't think anyone here is going to translate an entire Japanese-language trailer of a movie entirely in Japanese into English for you.  There are plenty of history books on Yamamoto if you want English-language information on him.  Or wait for a subtitled version of the movie.  Or learn Japanese.

It roughly translates to "the pleasure of being [REDACTED] inside."

The trailer is most likely full of lies.

So far it looks much more accurate in visuals than Pearl Harbor was :)

I mean let's face it, the great tragedy of Yamamoto wasn't played out off Bouganville, it was played out prior to the start of the war and his threat to resign and take Combined Fleet staff with him if he wasn't allowed to attack Pearl Harbor.

Indeed.

The guy was smart enough to see the writing on the wall and realize that Japan would loose the war once the US mobilized it's industrial base. He was hoping to knock the US out of the war long enough for Japan to secure their "co-prosperity sphere". Of course they didn't have nearly enough of a merchant fleet to ever realize this even if the US had been slow to respond. Pearl Harbor was one of the biggest military strategic gambles ever...it appeared to have paid off at first but all it did was waken a sleeping giant.

Interesting guy really... He knew they would loose and gambled on a small chance that they might not.
