Actually, with the last video you linked... some of the slow-motion footage has really spectacular sound - capturing that might make for some really great automatic cannon sound effects!

I thought that the ~60 mm LAW rocket firing distance was a little bit too close in one of his videos, I recall that the full sized thing required something like 30 metres safety distance to target to prime the detonator in time during the flight. I haven't fired its bigger cousin, 112 mm LAW (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/APILAS) , but that did make a lot more noise. Even more louder was the 95 mm heavy anti-armor RPG, when that thing fired you felt it in your chest cavity some 200 metres away. The other thing close to it was T-55 firing its cannon to a granite rock face, both the shot and the impact were loud as hell.

The recoilless shotgun was a surprise, I didn't expect it to be that well dampened.

No I'm pretty sure he's not Russian.

definitely not something you would expect from a freaking shotgun. especially when he dual wields them XD
