The staple of the DMCA's enforcement crippled by a simple felt-tip.
And the supposedly most secure method of user identification screwed over by some sweets, super-glue fumes and a PCB.

Like on MegaTraveller2 where it goes "How far is it from Ribos to Vega?", you get yer little bright-yellow (hard to scan) planets table, look up Ribos, run down to Vega and type in the 3 digit number. Nice, simple, effective.

It's exactly the same as the DMCA and there's not a damm thing we can do about it. Natarally Tony Blair, a huge respector of civil liberties, will adopt it as strictly as possible so you get longer in the big house for downloading an mp3 than you do for robbing OAPs: sickening. Can everyone say 1984?

Anyway, crap like the DMCA and EUCD will never be enforced. As long as you're not selling thousands of copies of Spiderman on pirated DVD's, no-one cares.
