EDIT: Also found this, RUIN (http://io9.com/5894011/this-short-animation-about-a-lush-post+apocalyptic-future-deserves-its-own-movie) -- also a nice short, Battsy might even like it (though IDK about that)

This is one of those films where it boggles my mind that they can spend all this time and effort on effects and not get a halfway decent writer to cobble together a script actually worth filming.

What a waste.

I like the effects, but it kind of reminds me of Short Circuit meets any number of 'migrated soul' type films.

The short was pretty generic, maybe something more could be made of it with a longer movie, but having watched District 9, I'll wait and see :)
