With my writer's block hit and my temporary break from the Dusk Wars Project. I put together this little mission for the HLP Community for opinions. Its generally about an assault against an NTF Installation in Deneb. Enjoy!

So what to say? The mission is a way too simple and nothing interesting happens...
I "camped" near the station hangar cause a lot of waves kept popping up inside there and the player has nothing else to do. I killed them until I ran out of Tempests  It got even worse with the Orion where I got into range of the first enemy fighter when the destroyer jumped out again...
There was no AWOL Debriefing and no delay between enemy waves (see http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Typical_FREDding_mistakes)
A good thing was that the bombers posed an actual threat to the corvette if the player ignored them.
Considering the situation at that time the GTVA should have tried to capture the station as they need whatever support they can get with the shivans coming again. Add this and some talk about asking the NTF to surrender as well as less GTVA fighters would have made the first part bit more interesting and challenging. In the second part the Orion fired no green beam at all, jumped out way too fast and the few enemies appeared too far away to be a threat to anyone. I was just looking at it and thinking: Uh... am I supposed to do something?

Alrighty, thanks for the tip.

Surrender is not an option. If I decide to make another mission based off of this then you'll see why its not.
