yeah, cool stuff happening over there, I'm starting a new game just to see what's new.

I hope there are new default models for the characters to go with the improved armour models.
Also, getting weird slowdown/lag when my interceptors engage Fighter-class UFOs, it's very strange, reproduceable and limited entirely to that single type of UFO.

I do wonder..am I the only one from HLP that pitched into help the UFO:AI guys?
We have so much raaw talent there that we could push the project ahead considerably(especialylconsidering how simpler hte modelsand textures they use are).
Right now they are lakcing both modelers and textureres.

I remade their sniper rifle once with more polys... but that was last year, and the school wipes their servers :ick: I was just tired of having the scope be an effing rectangle.

I've downloaded and started playing it. Great game. I'm going to get the original X-COM someday, but this is all I need for now. :)

If you want more stuff, try downloading the nightly.
It's usually very stable and has all the latest additions.

Would I need to restart the campaign? I'm quite far into it, at the point where supply ships started to show up.
