Nice... ohh I think I know what it could use :-) Put the gladius's wings on it http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v356/Shodan_AI/Model%20Display/TCF-Gladius2.jpg It looks like you were heading that direction with the kinked wings

Ok, I worked on the wings some and I think they look better now...and so here's a look at the back.

Nice work.
The two peripheral engine ports look a bit silly, iMHO.

I'm looking at your model now, there's quite a few areas that need some cleaning up before you get too far into detailing. There's sliver polygons that jut out of the body, which can effect/affect shading, shine. Once I get it cleaned up, I'll pass it back down to you.
You generally want a nice clean base model before adding details, otherwise it's nearly impossible to fix without starting over.

Some modifications to the engine and cockpit sections, as well as guns. Not sure which cockpit version I like better, this one or the old one. The back looks better now.

personally i'd vote for the old cockpit. i don't really like the stubby snub look of the newer version, sorry :-/
i also think that something is still missing on this model... maybe some tail wings or fins back in the engine section where these two handles are. so it'll have a speedier look to it *shrugs*

canards on the nose is what the model needs. i like the old cockpit better as well.

do you mind calling it something else for consistency? the name hera (http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/GTB_Hera_%28INF%29) is already a bit popular.

I guess in keeping with the Valkyrie line that the "GTF Freyja" would be somewhat more appropriate.

yeah snout looks much better now :-)
i'd still add fins to the engine part though. i just think its still missing something without fins or something *shrugs*
you could also experiment in relocating the wings all the way back towards the engines, then have them turned around so they become forward swept wings, hence giving the fighter a more dagger-like appearance which i think would fit in better with the whole interceptor theme.
or well, that's what i would do at least ^^;;

How about GTF Adonis?
Spoiler:
Since I'm going to use it for the ship of that name in Twist of Fate as soon as you release it :nervous:

 unless the final touch is down to earth beautiful i'd rather see that name adorning a craft made of glossy, solid gold.
but meh, who's gonna stop ya? no ones claimed it yet anyways.

Right now I'm trying to learn UV mapping and texturing... :banghead: A permanent name is still up in the air for now, but really, if someone gets it UV'd and textured before I do they can name it whatever they like! If anyone wants to try their hand at the process too, here is the updated model.

oh yes, definately getting there :-)
i'd make the fins a bit bigger and angle them for added coolness :-P
oh and looking at the engine part... the round engine looks a bit out of place with all the others being shaped more rectangular. it might be better to have them all look similar in shape

I also suggest enlarging the tail fins. The design looks a bit front-heavy and bigger fins will push the visual center of mass rearward slightly.
