After years of looking to keep my trusted MS sidewinder forcefeedback PRO in use I now hit a brick wall in the fact that 64bits drivers where never developed. So i'm looking to replace it. Preferably I would like to have another forcefeedback Joystick that works in Windows 7 64bit. My budget is about 100 €. (a bit more is also possible but never more as 200€). Does anybody have some suggestions about what is a good stick?
Thanks

Obligatory "mouse + keyboard ftw".
So that's said. Moving on.

Or a site-specific Google search (https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Ahard-light.net%2Fforums%2F+joystick).

To be fair, the OP seems to be asking specifically for a force feedback stick, which I'm pretty sure there are no useful threads on!
Do they even make force feedback sticks still?? I've not seen any unless you count ones people have hacked together themselves...
It doesn't seem that popular alas; Even the insanely expensive sticks like the TM Cougar, Warthog and the Saitek X-sticks don't have FF...

There's the G940 (it's an expensive HOTAS set though), but generally, sticks seem to be made for realistic flightsims now, and real fighters don't usually have FF. Not to mention such stick is more reliable than one with FF, because you don't need motors that the user would struggle against (which puts a lot of strain on them).

The Logitech G940 is at them moment AFIAK the only Force Feedback Stick on the market.
There are some cheap sticks with force vibration, but their precision sucks.
The Logitech G940 is expensive, but you get a HOTAS Setup with Rudder Pedals... if you take that in account it's cheaper than an Saitek X 52 pro with additional rudder pedals.
But the first product run has had some Problems, and I don't know how the quality of newer models is.
In this Thread is more information about the G940 & Freespace:

If I may, i have a rather different solution. I have been playing with an xbox 360 controller recently, and it has actually been working well. You may want to look into it, despite the lack of force feedback. Though you may be able to rig up something for the rumble system.

The PS3 controller is an option as well. They've got drivers for it that supports all 6 axiis.
FSO can only support 4 at the moment, however. :(
