FSF found seams, I tried the HT/FSF seam fix and they got worse, so I made that image size and started placing two images side by side...ei left and front, front and right, right and back, back and left. I did this so that I could see the joints of the skybox. I went through 4 of my finished skyboxes, all had problems like this one, some even worse. This is why HT/FSF seam fix wouldn't work for me.
This has happened in every 4096 image that I exported from spacescape. What you are seeing is a side by side of the front and right side of a skybox joint viewed at 400%. It may just be something wrong on my end, or it may be a glitch. The only saving grace in all of this is that it doesn't happen at 2048, so I can still work.
Like I said, it may be on my end, or it may be a glitch, I thought you guys who use spacescape would want to know.

I don't think I've ran into this, but I think I was working with 2048^2...
I don't have my files on me *i"m at work* so I can't check...
I'll get back to you on that one.

no biggie, i am currently redoing everything as 2048, it's just a bummer because of all of the gimp modifications

Yeah, I did everything in 2048. Thanks for the heads up on glitching in 4096 mode :P
