Oh yes. On the Tuesday I passed my driving test, first time with only 4 minors. I got home just in time to tell my dad before he had parts of his spine removed. The next day I was driving behind a hella mad Articulated lorry going 75 mph down a main road. I was astonished when it overtook a car going 60. I followed it. The next day I hit 85... in my 988 cc nissan Micra. It started vibrating. My glove compartment exploded. I slowed down.
I bummed around for the week until on sunday...
It was my 18th birthday. I got a giant inflatable Banana and a fake moustache off my friends. I went out. I did handbrake turns.
In between all this I managed to construct a G'Quan and a Th'Nor cruiser for the IW2 Buda 5 (Babylon 5) mod.
Now all I have to do is find out where my exgirlfriend lives and ramraid her house. Ah, sweet revenge.
As I said, hella week. Who says you can't mix being a Modeller for a mod, being a Metaller (and having a hella time in the Mosh pit), driving random people to random destinations and actually having time to sleep? Oh yeah, and finishing Jedi Knight 2 ;)

Not bad. But you narrowly missed becoming a zombie, too.:D
What'd you have in your glove compartment? Nitroglycerin?
-
Nope. A rubber chicken.

You kinky......

That's nothing. I had a fake arm and a stuffed orangutan on my back seat, and a fluffy rabbit masking taped to my bonnet. Well, I say fluffy, I mean fluffy in the Monty Python and the Holy Grail killer rabbit kinda way. Complete with big sharp pointy teeth and blood.

A rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle? ;) :D (some people may understand what I'm talking about here)
-
I'm constantly disappointed that those things don't actually exist.

Yes Guybrush, we know your little games
BTW Claw a belated 'Happy birthday' and congratulations on passing your driving test. Now where would you like the spud launchers installed on your car? :D

:jaw: I wouldnt use a nissan micra for as much as a chicken coupe, let alone try and drive it 85mph.
Me and my mates managed to fit 4 rugby players, and their driver, into a Peugoet 205 - it almost tipped over on one corner.

I am taking driving lessons atm:) damn easy:)

I'm having a hard time adjusting from riding a bike... when I ride a bike I rely on reflexes to get me through and it's worked every time so far... my driving instructer keeps having a go at me because I don't react to things untill the last second and frequently drive to close to parked cars (I usually travel about 3 inches from the curb/parked cars when on a bike).
Suffice to say, I'm a menace ;)
-
I don't drive.
So there.
and
:wtf: :headz: :snipe:
to the rest of this thread.

yeah, you'd better get some distance. avoiding stuf on a bike is easier than in a car ( goes faster, a "bit" larger, etc )
Bah, got my license first try too ^_^. but people like to ram my car, dunno why, I've been ramed 3 times already ( was never my fault ), but i'll never give up! :ha:

Heh, don't I know it - I've still cleared every gap I've gone for mind you... but eventually my brain is going to wake up and realise the risk of hitting something is going to be a lot more painful than giving gaps more space...oh well!

It's always good to give yourself some manuervering distance on the right (or left if you're in England). If some idiot is flying down the road, going the opposite direction, and taking his fifty percent of the highway from the middle, having those extra inches can really help.

I got a non yelling instructor he is a nice dude and explains things in a easy way. Thats one of the reasons i find it easy. In a few weeks i'll have my drivers linsence.

I've got it up to 95 now... with 4 ppl in the car. It rocks. But I really need to balance my tires. My cars also been given a name now... Homer. If you ever see an H reg Micra with a strangely good stereo listening to Heavy Metal, that would be me ;)
Thanks Maeglamor, I'm already working on where to fit the Potato Cannons. (mwahahahahaha). Actually that's a lie. I've yet to build one, but when I do I'm gonna stuff it full of tomatoes and fire it at my old school (whose 6th form I left 2 weeks ago now). Should be fun ;)
