cool, if I want to send my PC in high orbit, it'll still work.
I guess I could buy a couple PC with the money i'd need for this one :p
-
that rawks!!! Think about all the zeros in that things price tag. :jaw:
-
Its not a hard disk..its a solid state disk :p
-

More then you can afford:D

Wait about a year and they'll be givin' 'em away with boxes of CocoPops. Personally, I'd rather have a bowl of CocoPops but, meh.
-
Sweet! :jaw:
I'd really like to have one of those :D
-
Think of it this way
If you worked at Microsoft you could buy it in: 2 years
If you worked for THQ you could buy it in: 15 years (of course it would take time to get to a store after you have long term therapy for playing Britney Spears Dance Moves)
If you worked for Mike Tyson, you would just bust up a guy with it and steal it.
If you work for McDonalds: 10 years
If you work at Walmart: You have one creative mind.
-
Cool. It doubles as a brick. I dunno.
-
sweeeeeet
thq = 15 years
mickeydees - 10 years
:D

Yeah, its a nice drive...just one problem. The lowest price I've seen for one is nearly 4x higher than a SCSI drive with 1/4 the space.
-
Yea but can a SCSI survive a direct nuclear attack?

A london parking meter earns more per hour than Macdonalds staff... But what would a parking meter do with a near indestructable hard disk?
Maybee i should be a parking meter...

Can this drive survive a power loss? ;)
-
yeah, good one MD...
this thing can be encased in a block of ice, and surpass temperatures that would kill humans... it can erase everything in seconds, and has an incredibly fast seek time, but what happens if someone pulls the plug on this thing?
?

Nice!

Sweet Jesus!

*opens up wallet...moth flutters out of it*
damn....maybe in a few months they'll drop the price, like X-box, was $400+ now $299, meh go figure.
Wonder what would happen if it got dropped or got hit with a bolt of lightning? OR if you had a sudden rush of rage that you smashed it with a sledge hammer?.....wonder if FS2 can load onto it?
It ain't worth crap if FS2 can't be put on to it!
Well, that's my 2 cents worth.

75.7 GB? That thing is 5 times bigger than my hard drive!

It has the same capacity as mine in a tenth of the physical size. :D
