I was trying to take some screenshots of an event for the Diaspora Documentation and failing miserably as the event was bigger than the part of the Events Editor for viewing events. So I decided that I'd just make that part larger for my local builds and then revert.

Know I'm wondering if there is any reason why I shouldn't just clean up the alignment a little and commit it instead. :D

Really cool thing!
But isn't it possible to make the size of the windows adjustable by the user?
I'm asking because same goes for the Command Briefing and Debriefing Editors. They are f***ing small.
At the moment I use notepad to write those because the small window size in FRED really sucks.

You would have thought so, right? :D
Actually from what I can see it means all manner of other changes which won't take 5 seconds. But I'm no MFC expert.

Yes pleeeeeaaaase this.
Events/briefings windows are so uncomfortable small to work with.

Yes to the larger event editor.
The CBriefs, Briefs and Debriefs all need to be larger too.. also, their text boxes for the writing itself needs scroll functions or something... But that is not a 5 second hack either.

Putting scrollbars on the text boxes should be ridiculously easy actually. IIRC I only need to tick a checkbox.

Yes, it's clear that the FRED windows were scaled with FS1-length briefings in mind. Personally, I am not disturbed by it, but a larger CB and debrief window wouldn't hurt.

+1 to the new event editor.

Hmm...
Take the OK and Cancel buttons out for a bit. Then add a horizontal dividing line separating the old input fields from the moved ones. Then move the directive text, sexp help, etc. up to condense the empty space. Finally, put the OK and Cancel buttons down at the lower right of the window.
