Title: model scaling and Fvec/Uvec question
Post by: --Steve-O-- on August 18, 2012, 01:15:48 pm
I have a ship that i want to rescale to a larger size and this ship has turrets that have fvec and uvec settings. question is this. if i scale the ship up will that bork the current Fvec and Uvec data or can i still apply the original vectors to the larger model?

Can't you quickly find out with PCS2's transform setting ? Should take you less than a minute.

Changing a model's scale will not affect the fvec/uvec settings.

PCS 2 did the trick. i have been using the 2008 version as its the only PCS2 version i have that will convert .cob without windows 7 screaming bloody murder and crashing PCS, so i never noticed the new version can do that until you mentioned it.
