Well, it looks like the discussion petered out without explaining the procedure to your satisfaction, and you never posted a follow-up request.  Shall I therefore say that this speaks to the character of your management of Diaspora, just as you say that NGTM-1R's failure to explicitly ask for an unmonkeying speaks to his? :p
