I'm a bit fed up with browser crashes eating my long posts. While I am going to change my browser to a more stable one, I noticed that Bohemia Interactive (http://forums.bistudio.com/index.php) forums have an auto save feature, which has often saved me a lot of annoyance. It saves your post every few seconds or so and offers an option to restore the last save if you, for example, refresh the page or reboot your browser. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be saved a great deal of frustration thanks to such a feature being implemented on HLP.

I'm pretty sure Firefox does that anyway.

After suffering that a few times, I learned to start copying long posts to clipboard regularly. Mostly only with long posts.

Firefox has been saving entered text on improper shutdown since something like version 4.

If you've got frequent browser crashes, methinks you have much bigger problems to worry about than your forum posts :nervous:

Did a quick google, and it appears that because SMF doesn't support drafts, this can't be done at this time.
If you happen to find something that allows this to happen, by all means, link it.
