Have a look at the post processing table (http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Post_processing.tbl) on the wiki. To be able to lightshafts however, you'll need to compile your own build from trunk (see here (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=74840.msg1479352#msg1479352) for more info). I can't remember where all the pretty nebula stuff could be though, I'd suggest searching either the modding or SCP subforums.

I think the latest PCS2 should be available on the freespace tools subforum. Try this thread-> http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=77292.0

Be advised that, as far as I remember, even with a build that supports lightshaft, you still have to trigger a mission-specific setting to get lightshafts.

Or set them to always on in the table.

On that note, I know it's kinda off-topic, but I noticed that once you turn lightshafts on using the set-post-icantremembertheexactsyntax SEXP, it stays on until you exit FSO or change it again using the same SEXP. Is that a bug or intended behaviour?

Probably a bug. Go Mantis.

While you're at it, give wxLauncher a try.  It's currently very usable, and if you find a bug, well, report it, and there's nothing that stops you from using both wxLauncher and also 5.5g as a backup.

Install wxLauncher to its own directory.   Link should be in my sig.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, after wxLauncher is 100% current and stable (almost there i think), I do believe that's where we will be going, as wxLauncher is cross-platform and 5.5x is not.

Thx guys for the replies.

So I will try wxLauncher.

And I will look at those sun shafts and post processing.
