Title: twisting stick

The game's control config screen doesn't recognize my joystick's yaw axis, when I try and set turn to it, the config sets one of the other stick axis instead, is there some way to force the config menu to set turn to use my twisting stick?

I had this problem as well with my Logitech 3d Pro. I had to map NUM 7 and NUM 9 to to twist axis in the profiler software.

as it turns out it doesn't seem to be detecting the stick at all, I'll try that.  As it happens, I'm using that same stick.

Check under Basic Settings in the launcher and see if there's a joystick set. I had to do that as well.

You might have to set it to be the default controller too. Check the Known Issues thread above.
