That's a code bug I suspect rather than a mission one since nothing in the mission should be doing that. I'll see what the others have to say.

I know there is no mod switching involved but could it still be pilot code?

It's almost certainly the pilot code cause I can't think of anything else that could cause it. My only suggestion is that someone who is on M6 gives you their pilot file.

That's still a pilot bug really. Which means I can't really touch it until we move over to antipodes.

if it is either pilot file corruption or the RA bug then it wont be fixed until SCP feel the new pilot code is ready to be integrated into trunk

The standard way to get around this kind of bug is to create a new pilot profile from scratch (no cloning, as it will also clone the corrupted data) and start over.

Better would be if some kind soul uploads a pilot file (both the .pl2 and .csg files) from a playthrough where they are on M6.
