Title: Wing Commander III and IV from GoG

Too thick or too stupid?
WC3 and 4 will not install.

Someone grab my ears and pull...please! (Yeah! I can use the help).

A simple Dell XPS (slightly modified) with WIN 7 Home Ed.
Both games, purchased from GoG, won't even install.
Please do not tell me I have to revert to Win XP (OK, if that's the way, go ahead and tell me).

Nevermind XP.

Have tried out dosbox?

Wait, the site clearly states it is compatible with Win7. Contact them.

They worked for me, from the GoG download, on 7 and wine both. Did you check your download crcs and whatnot?

Well, that did not work (though I did have high hopes).
GoG answered that I should go to the Launcher and set to "Win 98 or Win XP Compatibilty" mode and try again.
Have not had the chance yet (too much medical device work!), though I will and let it be known.
