Title: Can we at least get the storyline?

Can't they just release the plot of the entire series, so we can at least have our curiosity revenged? I could deal with the fact that we won't get a new freespace game better if I would know what it would've been like.
I think we should email the guys that made the Freespace games and just plain ask them.

I know, but it was the piece of the puzzle that allowed me to follow the logical sequence back to this thread and work out what had gone on. :P Your call in the first few posts evaded my initial skim-read!
