Title: Normal Map Plugin/Script for Photoshop nDo
Post by: Eiswolf on October 04, 2012, 03:51:32 pm
I´ve found this in the web.

I think it is very fine. It is very easy to handle and to make normal maps for Modells.

You should have install  Nvidia dds Plugin (you can save the normal map in DDS Format and DXT5.)

Have fun with it. :)

for baking normal maps from high res models i use ati's normal mapper. i use nvidia's toolset (the dds plugin and texture tools) for everything else. been having good luck doing 2d height maps in photoshop and converting to normal maps with the normal map filter. saves a lot of work load, and in some cases can give better results.
