Title: Installer issues

Hi, sorry to be registering only cause i have a problem but it's a real horror!
When i launch the installer seemingly nothing happens other than it makes my computer run really slowly. After a while, the .exe appears in the task manager list of running .exes taking up 96k of memory but still doing nothing. It then continues to do nothing, until i end it, and all the time this is making my pc run awfully slowly. Any help??

My bet is that your virus checker is trying to scan it. Microsoft Security Essentials in particular has a bad reputation for doing this. If you exclude the exe from the list of things your virus checker scans or turn off real time scanning while you install, that should make the problem go away.
