Title: Help! Can't launch WiH

Stuck with a blank screen when launching, bug report as follows

bp2-wep.tbm(line 979:

in weapon: ShockwaveEffect
 instead.

Looks like your version of FS2 open is too old.  (need at least 3.6.14 iirc)

Also someone is going to yell at you to post 'debug.log' shortly, so you may want to find that in your freespace folder.

Like said in the release thread, WiH is not compatible with .12. You need a .14 RC, or a recent trunk build like Diaspora's build.

We should just start packaging EXEs with the download at this rate.

While I understand that you are probably new to this forum, but please, read the Instructions on the specific release thread. And please, please, dont use any automated installer like Tureys, simply because they are fairly outdated, and some new mods (like BP) which use the newer builds wont work on them. If you need any help finding or understanding exactly what to do (its somewhat complicated for new users/ people used to all-in-one instals) jump in on the IRC and you'll get help.

That might not be a bad idea. It'll be the minimum viable product of the time, so any newer builds released should work while older ones aren't guaranteed.
