Title: Kaspersky PURE 2.0 issues?
Post by: est1895 on October 17, 2012, 10:06:39 pm
When I try to install this game, my Kaspersky PURE 2.0 goes crazy.  It says that there are many viruses and such as, during installation.  Anyone had this problem and found a way to make it work, besides simply turning off the Kaspsersky?

There are no 'viruses' but it sees Diapora installing as a threat or virus. I  can give you more feedback later.

ahhh i asked because some scanners have been reporting problems with Diaspora due to their heuristics components struggling to identify between an installer and a virus

Yes you are correct.  During installation, Kaspersky will quarantine and name other files as viruses.  It is sad because the mod looks sooo great.  I wonder, if I were to disconnect the internet (physically) and then turn off the Kaspersky and then install the Diaspora.  After installation is complete, then reconnect the internet and turn of the Kaspersky?

That should work. There should also be a way to tell it "This isn't a damn virus!"
