Greetings, I'm Komet.
I'm working on upgrading visual effects of FS2.
This project is simply called "Komet's Mod".
And I just released this mod.

What happened to the crosshair in the hud?

Other than that, kick ass mod:cool:  
Weapon impacts and explosions look awsome now.

Just give me back my crosshair and I'll always use your mod:D

What release are you using?
Release 2002-06-17 did not have the crosshair due to my mistake.
But release 2002-06-19 should have the crosshair:D

Wooh, nice effects there! ;7 Nice to know there are some peoples from Japan doing stuff for the game too! :D

Nah, honestly, I've bought a few books, but I can hardly make any progress :(

  Best way'd be to make a japanese friend, and have the person teach you - It's much easier to learn a language vocally than by reading or writing. :nod: Another tactic is to be a foreign exchange student to Japan... but if you really need help on Japanese though I could help you a bit... *points to IRC* :)

sadly, I don't know of any japanese around. being a student transfer is a no go either (i'm not even student anymore :p )
For how things sounds, well, I keep watching countless japanese animes subtitled in english. kindda lame, bur I haven't got better :p So I guess i gotta figure IRC out :D

Nicely done. Very nice indeed. Just one thing - if you release another version could you perhaps do the same thing DTP did and kill off all the table limits?
I'd love these kind of graphics for my campaign/mod but I've got too many ships for your version to handle! :doh:

Thank you for invitation, but I already have one. It's "FS2 Unofficial Japanese Localization Project". I'm leader of this project, I'm programmer of this project, And I'm also one of three translators of this project.
Source code level localization is almost completed, but translation of mission texts are only 15-20% done. So I need 3 or 4 months to complete this project:)

Komet, let's talk :)

1) we can help you learn, 2, you can benefit from the work that others are doing similar to your graphics enhancements and anyone else who is localizing (I saw a request for french) might benefit from your experience with the Japanese project :)

CVS also helps with backups and roll backs ;)
