Turrets are easy, and I'll bet he uses segeltuch for capship textures... I've done it too... it is really hard to find skins that work well together, that's why my Scylla is so cool (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

He's right, it's difficult to find skins that work well together, and no I don't use segeltuch for skinning, I use truespace.

I'm still learning how to make turrets, but if someone gives me a model and I play around with it, I can come out with something good and learn quite fast (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
