Title: Anti-aliasing and anisotropic levels
Post by: Capt_Thunder on November 09, 2012, 09:03:28 pm
Hi, I have bought an AMD dual core (2.2 GHz) and an Nvidia 9600 gt card. I can now use advanced effects vps. But I am not sure how much to set the Anti-aliasing and anisotropic levels to and if I should use Post-processing. What should I use for a set up like this. I Bought these second hand for great price and I like to see what they can do.

As far as I know altering the anisotropic and AA settings in the launcher actually does nothing.

Yeah, AA/AF currently don't work on Windows, although they do work on Linux and OS X. So as Battuta said, those options in the Windows launcher don't do anything.

Yeah, it's one of the things that'll probably get fixed once we move to SDL on all platforms.
