Title: Where are the music experts?
Post by: SF-Junky on December 01, 2012, 10:20:29 am
Good day, dear modding community. Y Productions once more needs your competence. I have a music track (see attachment) that consists of an intro (ca. 0s - 16s), a loop that plays twice (ca. 16s - 32s) and an ending (32s - end). What I want to do is to turn the intro and the loop into two different tracks. The ending is not needed. Now the problem is that I don't manage to cut out the loop so that there's a smooth bridge from its end to its beginning, you know what I mean?

Do you have a good advice for me? Are there any tools to solve this? I use audacity as sound editor.

If you want to have really super-seamless transitions, you have to crossfade the piece back into itself so there is no abrupt end to the decay/reverb at the loop point, but if all you need is for the loop points not to click annoyingly then these should hopefully work fine.
