Title: Video Extension?
Post by: Black Wolf on December 04, 2012, 07:58:49 pm: I updated the Silent Threat: Reborn wiki page (http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Silent_Threat:_Reborn) after Axem pointed out that it was pretty dire compared with some of the other pages. I wanted to add the teaser and intro movie, but we have no youtube integration.

This (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:VideoFlash) or this (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:YouTube_%28Iubito%29) would do the job nicely, it seems.

Post by: Goober5000 on December 04, 2012, 08:30:51 pm: Thanks for the contributions, both to the wiki page and to finding the extension. :) I've looked over the PHP for VideoFlash (https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:VideoFlash) and it seems legit. It's now in the wiki extensions directory, so give it a shot.

Yeah, that's temporary. Goober's getting them captioned, and wanted some dummy text to replace.

If anyone has a few spare minutes and wants to do the same for some of the other campaign walkthroughs (http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Category:Campaign_Walkthroughs), that'd be great.

Post by: dwlnetnl on March 30, 2013, 09:31:04 am: I've added QD's and TheOneTrueRenairen's playtroughs to the FS2 main campaign mission walkthroughs. Maybe we want to select and make some sort of list or database of YouTube video ids to have some sort of overview of all the linked movies. Also I think it's important to select a selection of playtroughs for quality and to limit the article lengths.

Feel free to make requests for video attachments of videos!
